How to use a Wigjig

I thought I'd show you how to use a Wigjig to make earrings.  A Wigjig is a funny looking contraption used to bend wire into different shapes in order to make components for earrings, necklaces or other pieces of jewelry.

This is the Wigjig with pegs in place. The large pegs will make large loops and the small loops.
This is what our finished earring will look like - complete with a green glass square dangle.
Using 22 gauge brown colored copper wire, I start at the bottom and slowly loop around the larger peg on the right then to the left.
Up and around the peg on the top to make the loop that the ear wire will attach.
Almost done - now to take off the Wigjig and finish!
When you take it off the Wigjig it SPRINGS loose and with a tie of wire in the center to hold it all together...
Add the dangle and make a matching one for the other ear...
There they are..
  1. All done, on the card and ready for someone to love!.
